Shirley Gilbert, MS, LMHC

Shirley is empathetic and understanding.  She brings a wealth of life experience to the counseling experience.  For over a decade, she has worked with women of all ages facing life challenges such as divorce, loss & transition or low self-esteem. She believes in everyone’s potential to self-actualize and live a happy life. She has an eclectic approach to counseling which she tailors to each client’s unique needs. 

Shirley is trained in EMDR, and CBT. She has earned a master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the State University of New York and is Licensed as a School Counselor in both New York and Florida and as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida.  She has raised three beautiful daughters and has lived in Jupiter for over 30 years.
